Our most dangerous abstractions rule us

It’s easy to see why socialism is appealing.  Too many of us have been taught that “unregulated capitalism” is causing inflation; and a whole generation is suffering a unified system of corrupt politicians and businesses working against them.  They are in fact right to blame “corporate greed” and corrupt politicians for our nation’s ills.  And they are right to criticize the misled conservatives and libertarians among us who think that “Public-Private Partnerships” and “privatization” are the panacea.  On the other hand, the conservatives and libertarians who think that Big Government and socialism are to blame, are right, too.  Democrats are right to blame corporations for buying our politicians, while Republicans are right to blame politicians for selling us to corporations.  There is common ground among all of us if we’d wake up to one very simple misunderstanding that has led to catastrophic consequences: Corporations are not humans.  Corporations are, in fact, government.

Corporations are, like government, legal, collective abstractions.  They are chartered, regulated, empowered and protected by government laws for mostly good reasons.  But corporations were foolishly and controversially bequeathed “human rights” in the 1886 Supreme Court case Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad.  While most corporations are still beneficial, the difference between some corporations, and organized crime, is little more than some paperwork, and campaign donations that are made above, as opposed to under, the table.  And the “Public-Private Partnerships” actually (not exaggerating or making this up) fit a large part of Mussolini’s definition of fascism – the bundling, or fastening of socialism, nationalism and corporatism.  A hand-in-glove crony system of political armed force and greed with collectivized risk and “privatized” profit.  And it gets worse.

A few ominous government surveillance programs like “Total Information Awareness” had been rightly shelved.  But they were then “privatized” with CIA funding and technology in the ominous form of, for example, Palantir Technologies Inc, Google and Oracle.  Dystopic DOD programs have been updated by the sci-fi dystopic Anduril Industries, and SpaceX, as well as the usual “Military-Industrial Complex” and “Scientific-Technological Elite” corporations that Eisenhower warned us against.

Politically powerful Big Pharma, Big Ag, Big Food, and perhaps most egregiously lately, asset management corporations like Blackrock, State Street and Vanguard, along with a certain foreign government colluding with the “Deep State,” have bought out, taken over, and stolen, our nation’s wealth, health, security and freedom. 

Almost all of us understand that our government is corrupt.  Most of us see the obvious relationship between campaign donations and their results in governance.  Very few of us, however, vote like we know any of that.  And so, only a tiny few of us in any way oppose what I believe is the biggest political threat we humans have ever faced – a very quickly unfolding AI-powered dystopia ruled by a universally global network of billionaire technocrats who espouse a Malthusian, eugenicist/ transhumanist “dark enlightenment.”  Many of the “tech bros” ominously refer to creating the “Antichrist,” “Mark of the Beast,” and even the ancient Golem myth – a man-made slave monster that turns on its makers.  

But, “you will own nothing, and be happy!”

Our new ruling class is, in other words, howling-at-the-moon crazy.

I suggest the following:

  1. Recognize that We The People, overwhelmingly, voted for this mess.  We didn’t have to.  And we don’t have to in the future.
  2. Vote against it.  Fire incumbents; both the politicians and the parties’ corruption networks, follow the money, and vote for only those who don’t, in very real terms, work against you.
  3. Actively search for better representatives; ones who promote sound, constitutional money, peace, and sound technology (e.g., permissionless blockchain, instead of “stablecoins” and total surveillance and control).  Talk them into running, or run yourself.  Use our Power of Peaceful Revolution as intended, at long last.
  4. Only if this doesn’t work, should we discuss Plan B.

USA’s Military/Monetary Hegemony is Over

We Forced the World to Unite…Against US!

Freedom, Indiana – Our nation’s founders warned usEisenhower warned us.  Innumerable politicians, economists and even losers like me have warned through generations and decades, against central banks, empire-building, entangling-alliance meddling, nannying, and military/monetary bullying.  Our costs are rising, our standard of living is falling, and the recent meeting of international leaders, and expo of military might in Beijing, presaged that USA’s costly exertions of global domination will end, one way, or another.  As all proud empires fall, so shall ours. 

It’s not all Trump’s fault.  Our century-old fiat currency system and Federal Reserve Bank cabal doomed us to the twin perils of the Cantillon Effect, which made the rich, richer at the expense of the non-Investment Class; and, since the Breton Woods Agreement after WWII, the Triffin Paradox, which describes the inflation and inevitable collapse of the dollar’s dominance as the global Reserve Currency.

But Trump’s manic gyrations of military and monetary bullying, piling on more international sanctions on everybody, particularly after the EU/Biden freezing of Russian assets, and recently, the helter-skelter tariffs and regime change efforts, accelerated moves already begun by nations around the world, to end our empire’s destructive carrot-and-mostly-stick manipulation and subjugation of the planet.  Economic alliances like BRICS and ASEAN, and a new military axis of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea, now comprise most of the world’s population, and economic production.  We’ve funded, armed and trained our enemies, and betrayed our friends.  We turned against what made this nation successful, and subjected ourselves to demagogues and plutocrats.  We have literally forced most of the world to turn against us. Who can blame them?

But we can come out of this OK if we do a few things that should’ve been done long ago.

First, stand-down our Military-Industrial Monster, and focus on free trade.  Real free trade.  Now.  Today.  Globally.  We ought to publicly issue a very humble and honest mea culpa that we’re broke, and that we can no longer govern, aid, punish, defend or nanny any country but our own.  Sorry.

Second, End the Fed, and reestablish a sound, and BTW, constitutional, monetary system.  G. Edward Griffin wrote a workable, stepwise plan to do this in “The Creature from Jekyll Island.”  I’m not aware of a better plan.

Finally, and this is the hardest sell, but must happen if we’re to avoid casting our seniors into ditches.  We must phase-out and privatize both Social Security and Medicare.  I’m on SS and Medicare myself, and I’m certain this would be a massive improvement for all of us, not the catastrophe our rulers would have you believe.  This would stop our slide into destitution, and start us marching toward real prosperity. 

If we’d prefer to continue our acceleration toward destitution and the sociopolitical drainpipes of history, we can of course keep reelecting the corrupt millionaire politicians that are protecting the Epstein files and care more about Netanyahu, than you. 


But if you give anything I’ve said above any credit at all, please start pressuring the politicians we’ve been reelecting, AND start looking now, today, for better replacements.  Encourage people that you know would be moral, responsible, constitutional public servants to run for office, and/or run yourself.

We can fix this, or at least clean up a big mess and avoid real catastrophe.  But the clock is ticking, and the USA now has real competition for King of this rock.  And that doesn’t have to be the end of the world.

Here’s what the GOP should do now

Freedom, IndianaAuthor Andrew Horning was a candidate for Indiana’s US Senate seat in 2024, and is now, and henceforth, just Andy.

Congratulations, Republicans!  The people chose you in what must be considered a strong endorsement and mandate.  And I understand why.  I know y’all have been at least half our troubles for a long time, but in hopes that the people’s trust means something more than donors’ dollars this time around, I have a few recommendations and requests:

First, don’t try to “go after” all the cold Malthusian eugenicist psychopaths currently running the world.  They’ll kill you all (remember JFK?).  Just peacefully defund, disempower and disentangle their global web.  Stand down our global “military-industrial complex” and “scientific-technological elite” monsters Eisenhower warned us against almost 64 years ago.  Stop the covert surveillance state, put all spying powers under direct, regular military control and strict congressional supervision, and let’s move on with a more open, constitutional government.  Forget revenge or “justice.”  Let the evil rats slip away into darkness.  But in humble mea culpa honesty, open the vaults to truth with a more in-depth Church Committee-style revelation, so that we can see what our government has become …so that it never becomes that ever again.

Get OUT of NATO, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the UN, and nullify all anti-constitutional agreements (like Agenda 2030)!  I suggest Peace, Commerce and Cautious Friendship with All Nations, Entangling Alliances with None.  End every military action that wasn’t directly authorized by specific congressional vote as either a declared war, or under letters of marque and reprisal (every overt and covert military action since WWII has been unconstitutional).  And let’s face the truth that our shamefully-numerous economic sanctions are, in fact, acts of war that have killed and impoverished countless millions worldwide.

Next, make good on your trans-generationally-broken promises to dismantle the bureaucracy.  Only lawmakers can make constitutional laws – no more edicts from unelected bureaucrats in executive agencies.  End all agencies not specifically authorized by the federal constitution.  I said “specifically authorized.”  Re-read the tenth amendment, please.

End the Fed.  This will be complicated, but we’re doomed if we don’t kill this arachnidian creature that monetizes political debt.  Let the free market determine what it wants to use as money, of course, but make sure that all government-issued money is constitutionally legit.   All federal money should be issued by only the Treasury, under total congressional control, as demanded by the federal constitution.

Here’s the hardest one: We must deal with the national debt.  I’ve suggestions to fix Social Security and Medicare, of course.  But we’d still need to repudiate a lot of debt.  We have to.  We should never have bailed out the banks.  We should never have let our politicians and the Fed get us into such a dilemma.  But the past is the past, and the present is about to kick our whole nation into the past, if we don’t wake up and smell pleuro$i$.  We’re going to either go through an intentional and orderly bankruptcy-like process, or we’re going to crash to a depth of widespread poverty and destruction that no “Western Culture” has ever experienced.

In summary, do constitutional rule of law, as is your oath and bond of office.  Nobody has ever come up with anything better, you know; and it still is the only thing that authorizes the existence of any USA government at all.  It is both the fundamental charter that protects us from you, and the law that protects you, from us.

MAKE PEACE, YOU FOOLS!

Freedom, IndianaAuthor Andrew Horning is the Libertarian Party of Indiana’s candidate for Indiana’s US Senate seat in 2024. 

Through three decades, I’ve written, spoken, sued and campaigned against corruption, the danger of war, collapse of the dollar, rise of BRICS against us, and in general, the fall of the USA Empire.  I’ve exhaustively proven that the unconstitutional, self-appointed and inherently-divisive “Two Party System” our founders warned against, has to go.  And for thirty years, I’ve been proposing solutions that are not only different from what the crony parties foist upon us, they’re also proven to work better than anything humans have ever tried.  Of course, for thirty years, I’ve also been fighting an organized system of deceit and mind-hacking.  Sigh…

But all of that was in a looking-forward, prepare-for-the-future mode that is now too late.  It’s too late to avoid major financial calamity, social unrest and, well…political governments do have a 100% eventual failure rate, after all.  No matter what we do now, USA hegemony is done.  Our standard of living will fall. …As it has begun falling already.

But what then?  We’ll have an awful mess to clean up.  How big a mess?  Will we clean it up?  Can we come back, better-than-ever?

That depends upon what we do with foreign entanglements and what Eisenhower called “the military-industrial complex,” and the “scientific-technological elite,” right now.  More importantly, it depends upon how We The People decide to live, right now.  And I mean, like, right now – before self-immolation in nuclear war.

I of course hope I’m wrong about the war with Iran that’s been on the Greater Israel Plan list of nations to destroy for decades. But Iran is powerful in its own right, and has strong ties to both Russia, and of increasing importance, China. A war on Israel’s behalf could end up a global catastrophe. It will at least be a tragic mistake with long-lasting consequences…at the very least will be debt, inflation, and skyrocketing fuel prices.

We The People have always had the numbers, and power, and accountability over everything.  We have both weapons of peaceful revolution in our votes, but also the power of nullification in our actions.  It’s only by ignorance and passive obedience that we humans are ever oppressed, enslaved and murdered by the millions, by the governments we empower.

It’s time to choose.  What next, my fellow citizens?

Why vote Libertarian?

Maybe now, western civilization has reached Peak Crazy, and there’s enough public disgust, and hopefully desire, to resurrect the best societal ideas, design and practices in human history.  I say, “hopefully,” because it’s those ideas, design and practice that I’m putting on Indiana’s US Senate ballot.  I’m the only one.  On Indiana ballots, only Libertarians not an inherently divisive, unconstitutional and obviously dysfunctional, puppet show of influence peddling and corruption.

In the race for US President, the tribal war drums are too loud and angry for the calming voice of reason to have much effect.  But the POTUS role isn’t where most of the power and trouble lies.  It’s actually our embarrassingly corrupt duopoly congress that’s been robbing us of wealth, health, opportunity, peace, security, justice and, of course freedom.  Constitutionally, the federal congress has sole power and accountability for most of our worst and pending problems, from local governance and schools, up to international policy, sanctions, money, trade and war.  They just prefer to deny it, and blame the courts, bureaucrats, other nations…and of course, the President.

By the billions raised in federal congressional races, it’s obviously here that most of the insider trading, foreign coercion, and every other kind of corruption and abuse of power has the freest, and apparently least-accountable, dominion over our daily lives. 

That has to stop, and only voters can stop it.  We should start by voting to stop it.  I’ve won at least a Primary Election as a Republican for US House (and probably the General Election as well, if only living voters counted).  So I know that the crony network cannot be fixed by representing and sustaining what we all know isn’t working.  Those of us who’ve chosen to run as independent or “third party” candidates are therefore the only ones who can even talk about corruption and real solutions with a straight face.  Libertarians are the only ones offering genuine, principled support of nonpartisan justice, peace, free trade, prosperity, individual rights, and the constitutional, moral order for society that our founders only dreamed of.

Only “third way” politicians can serve as political marriage counselors, healing the absurd separations between us all, and offering both cover and public mandate for the many Democrats and Republicans who no doubt really want to do the right thing.

But mostly, Libertarians have proven to be correct and truthful about the most critical political issues, while the other parties have proven to be at least deceitful, and of course, catastrophically wrong.

We have weapons of peaceful revolution in our votes.  We’ve never even tried to use them, not really. 

How about you give us a chance while we still have elections?

End of the American Empire?

Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad.”  Those words span languages and centuries because they express the observable fact that our civilizations have a yet-unbroken, 100% rate of eventual self-destruction, and by the most predictably insane ways.

So…what a year, right?  The gaslighting, outright lying, embarrassingly obvious corruption, as well as the chickens coming home to roost from trans-generationally awful domestic and international monetary policy and military mayhem, have made us a hotly divided nation on the verge of WWIII, financial collapse, and maybe Civil War.  You’d think we’d want to address an issue or two…like maybe debt, spending, inflation and the pending collapse of Social Security.  Yet in traveling around the state, I’m seeing a disturbingly common pair of reactions to my candidacy:

  1. Complete agreement with everything I say, have said for decades, and still want to accomplish; and yet,
  2. A politely expressed, but astoundingly resolute, tribal fealty and anger, that prevents them from turning against the unconstitutional, inherently divisive, tribal and destructive Two-Party Puppet Show, that got us into this catastrophic, flaming mess.

Have we not suffered enough?  Are we not yet ready to examine and accept our own role, power and accountability in our governance?  It’s We The People, after all.  We outnumber the bad guys, scores of millions to one.  We have, in our votes, weapons of peaceful revolution.

Elections are not about candidates or parties.  They’re always and only about voters.  All I can do as a candidate for US Senate is offer the following: 

  1. I’m the only one who’d do everything I could to decentralize, dissect, declaw and defund what has become an anti-constitutional oligarchy of PACS, foreign governments, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Ag and in general…a criminal crony crime ring.
  2. I’m the only one who can even talk about the Donor Class and duopoly political corruption with a straight face, as I’m the only candidate opposing, and not representing and sustaining this horrid scam. 
  3. I’m the only one who could embody a healing “Third Way,” or political marriage counselor, to stand down the hatemongering stupidity and illegality of the Two Party factions our founders warned against.
  4. A chance for you to make an unmistakably strong choice that you’ve suffered enough, and are ready to take over your government without firing a shot.

Any vote for even the best R or D is a vote to sustain the puppet show.  Any vote for any alternative says, at the very least, that you’re sick of this self-immolating madness, and want to concentrate on both healing this nation, and quit doing everything else with our money, our rights, and our lives. 

I’m offering peace, prosperity, security, privacy, open government; and I’m certainly the only one offering liberty and justice for all.

So, what is it that we wish?  What would we have?  Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?  Forbid it, Almighty God!  I know not what course others may take; but as for me, well…please give me a chance to serve you, before this all blows up.

Through the last thirty years, I’ve had a good record of calling our various minor monetary catastrophes.  I did not foresee the genuinely evil madness of 2020, but I’ve been increasingly urgent in my warnings of The Big One.

We do not have a lot of time to fix this.  We have to stop re-electing the people who’ve put us on the edge of not just a bad day on Wall Street…but many bad years on Main Street.  I really do have a proven plan to fix it all.

The coming monetary catastrophe

For most of the last three decades, I’ve written extensively about the USA’s monetary madness, inflation, impending monetary/economic and social collapse, and how to fix it all.  But now’s not the time to detail the Cantillon Effect, the Triffin Paradox or the still-constitutionally-required gold/silver “specie” backing of all official notes and currency, because we are about to get smacked upside the head by a world that is sick of our $#!+.

Some necessary history: Before our entry into WWII, the USA had acquired a huge percentage of the world’s monetary gold, and still had a fair bit of it after the war.  So, given the stability and growth of our society back then, the Breton Woods agreement made the US Dollar an at least partial “reserve currency” for the world – a sort of monetary exchange/credit card system that paid the USA a debt-based credit of 2-3% on all dollar-denominated transactions because of our inherently inflationary “fiat currency” Fed scheme.  This is what the French Minister of Finance Valéry Giscard d’Estaing famously called our nation’s “exorbitant privilege.”   So, in 1967, Charles de Gaulle called the bluff on the USA’s gold reserves on the claim that we’d spent it all on the CIA, Vietnam war/military-industrial complex, and political spending recently spurred by LBJ’s “Great Society” programs.  This led to a sort of global “run on the bank” of US Dollars, prompting Nixon to end the aforementioned Breton Woods agreement.  This led to rapid inflation, and an emergency deal with Saudi Arabia to create the “petrodollar system,” whereby we fought wars for the House of Saud, in exchange for a global market for USD in the oil trade.  The USA has since used that petrodollar leverage, and military force, to get what we want out of other people’s countries.  Through the years, our sanctions, manipulations, and recently, the REPO Act, to literally steal other nations’ assets (specifically Russia’s, for now), have made nations lose so much faith in the worth of the US Dollar, that the BRICS nations, and their growing list of partners, are launching a new monetary exchange system, and a major effort to “de-dollarize” in October of this year…as many of us (not just me!) have warned for some time. 

Whew!  That’s a lot of stuff, I know.  But it’s important to understand how we’ve used our money as a weapon of global hegemony, a scheme that has now turned against us.  What this means to USA citizens is that, starting very soon, maybe even by early 2025, we’ll see inflation like we’ve never imagined, a massively decreased standard of living, perhaps even World War (if we’ve not started one for other reasons), on top of the economic depression already underway.

In other words, our incumbent parties, politicians, and the puppet masters who own and operate them, have brought us to the edge of actual ruin.  But we could fix it.  I’ve a proven plan to do so.  You ought to ask me for details.

The REAL “Wasted Vote”

What is a “wasted vote?”

Freedom, IndianaAuthor Andrew Horning is the Libertarian Party of Indiana’s candidate for Indiana’s US Senate seat in 2024.

No doubt all independent and so-called “third party” candidates hear the same tired canards about “stealing votes,” “throwing elections,” and, “voting for you, just elects <evil candidate X>.”  These manipulations have been debunked often and conclusively enough, that I seldom respond, as the people who utter such nonsense, tend to be immovably loyal partisan parrots.  Besides, those of us who’ve spent our own time and money opposing the crony crime ring of global authoritarians, would delight in “spoiling” corrupt, bought, fraudulent elections…if only we could.

So, especially given how comically awful our political puppet-show has become, it’s the “wasted vote” self-deception we need to address.

Both crony parties are absolutely sold-out, and all of us know it.  Too many decent, well-intentioned people have wasted their money, time and even lives, trying to fix the multi-trillion-dollar, divide-and-conquer scam that’s fully owned and operated by Big Pharma, Big Ag, Big Food, Big Tech, PACS, NGOs, INGOs, the CCP, the military/monetary industrialists, spies, lies and various wealthy crooks.  The very best of our currently elected “major party” politicians like Thomas Massie, can do no more than sustain false hope, as our nation accelerates toward self-destruction.  What we’ve been doing is not working.  This anti-constitutional system cannot be fixed.  It must be replaced.

Blunt truth – ANY vote for ANY Democratic or Republican Party candidate, who has, after all, voluntarily chosen to represent a destructively corrupt system, is a vote for corruption.  It’s a vote for unsustainable debt spending, unending war, and wealth transfer from the bottom and middle to the top, by means of the Cantillon Effect built into an inflationary crony banking system that’s robbed us of both wealth and opportunity since 1912.  It’s blowing re-electoral kisses to the Donor Class, and all the genuinely evil puppet-masters bent on global domination.

That is the wasted vote.  Worse, that is a vote for impoverishing violence, injustice, social fracturing and societal collapse.  How could anything get better as long as we keep re-electing this monstrous criminal enterprise?  More to the point, what’s the only way to win anything better?

Voting against the whole rotten system is what we’re supposed to do.  Elections are not for hiring politicians.  Politicians hire themselves if you let them.  In a Republic, the democratic process is for firing tyrants – to replace them with public servants.  Elections are supposed to be a flush lever and toilet plunger.  They’re our weapon of peaceful revolution, so that we don’t have to have…the other kind. 

How can we make it work?  Look me up.  Let’s talk.

The Puppets can no longer hide the Puppeteers

Freedom, IndianaAuthor Andrew Horning is the Libertarian Party of Indiana’s candidate for Indiana’s US Senate seat in 2024.

After the now-infamous “Presidential” debate, we can no longer deny that We the People have been continuously reelecting a puppet show built on lies, money, censorship, cronyism and illegitimate power.  All the smart people since our nation’s founding tried to warn us against this threat of authoritarianism.  General Smedley Butler warned us.  Truman warned us.  Eisenhower warned us.  JFK warned us, and we should’ve paid attention; particularly when the warnings stopped after JFK was shot.  But the evidence, and even not-so-subtle hints kept coming.  Even Bill Clinton, speaking in Ireland in 1998 said, “You know, by the time you become the leader of a country, someone else makes all the decisions. … You may find you can get away with virtual presidents, virtual prime ministers, virtual everything.”

The problems we debate and call “issues” are really just symptoms of political corruption under a shadowy ruling elite.  What we’ve been told are two different parties are only a divide-and-conquer distraction from those pulling their strings.

In short, we’ve been deceived.  Hornswoggled.  Bamboozled and gaslit by a rich crony network of corporations, NGOs, INGOs, military/monetary industrialists and globalist Malthusian eugenicist psychopaths for too long.  You know the saying, “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me?”  Well, it’s time to wake up, and change our choices on Election Day.

This year marks thirty years since I started writing, campaigning and in every way I could think of, protesting against corruption, and offering the existing, once-revered but long-ago discarded state and federal constitutions, as the solution. 

But I, as a choice on the ballot, am not what any of this is about.  Elections are about voters, and what they want for our society.  Even the best Democratic and Republican Party candidates have voluntarily chosen to represent and sustain the status quo global crony network.  What I’ve chosen to do is oppose this crony network.  So the choice I’m placing on the ballot is simpler than ideology, law, or even money: 

Do voters want to continue re-electing the false hope, wasted money, inherent divisiveness and corruption of the costly, destructive, unconstitutional and self-appointed “Two Party System” our founders and all the wise people since, warned against?  Or do voters want to say NO to all this madness? 

This July 4 marks twelve score and 8 years since Thomas Jefferson wrote, “…that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

Our founders had to take up arms against their own government.  But they gave us, with our votes, weapons of peaceful revolution.  We can, in airconditioned comfort and button-pushing simplicity, vote away the corruption, and, at long last, try something proven to be better – owning our own government.
