Well I’ll be doggoned. Look at this.
Some brave (no, really) people went and did what I only wish the rest of us would do. The Lakota are subtly yet boldly fighting for sovereignty through economic independence by issuing “the world’s first non-reserve, non-fractional” gold/silver currency.
While it’s certainly not the world’s first, it is, as far as I know, the world’s only real money today.
Bravo.
Now, how does one become Lakota?
Hmmm…

Just FYI, it appears that the freelakota bank thing may be a scam. In any case, it certainly is not in any way actually associated with the Lakotah Republic.

P.S.
It *is*, however, an interesting idea. It makes one wonder whether something like it *could* be done.
I doubt the Fed will let this get too strong a foothold, but I wish this movement well. Maybe becoming Lakota isn’t such a bad idea…:)
Merry Christmas my friend. Off topic, but here is perhaps one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Enjoy. Be forwarned, it is hysterically funny, get a hanky or a kleenex handy.

Again, have a very Merry Christmas!
As far as the ROL goes, I can’t tell what’s true or false, valid or bogus. Unfortunately, there seems to be a tug of war for leadership in this group. Lots of egos are clashing, and they can’t seem to agree on anything.
Sigh…this is how we liberty-loving seem to work, unfortunately.
It’s yet another example of why the constitutions and freedoms we have inherited and destroyed are probably unrepeatable.
